About me
Hi, You can call me Flame, though you might know me as Flaming Killer from Steam if we have played together. I’ve always loved drawing, ever since i was a kid, what started as a fun thing became a way to cope with anger (mostly by drawing dragon-like monsters and gore) and has turned into a creative outlet where I constantly push myself to improve without going too hard on my self or actively studying references. Instead I often pester my friends for feedback on my art, whether it's fixing mistakes or tweaking details to make something look better.Even though I love drawing, I have to balance it with school, friends, and gaming. I mostly play online survival games like Day of Dragons, Beast of Bermuda, and Path of Titans, but I also hop into Genshin Impact, Century: Age of Ashes, and Fortnite. Every once in a while, I’ll play some Mario, Skylanders, or Super Smash Bros with my brother.I started digital art in 2020 when I got my first (and only) drawing tablet. At first, I struggled with looking at a screen while drawing on a blank tablet, so I mostly stuck to paper for another year. over time, I got used to the tablet, and now I actually prefer digital over traditional, though I still sketch on paper when I’m stuck.Back in 2019 I originally focused on improving my anatomy, but it became boring after about a year of mostly just standing in place, so I switched my focus to shading before eventually diving into digital art. In 2021, I was introduced to the furry community and made my first protogen OC after seeing a friend make one. In 2023, I created my fursona, Zack. Even before I put him on paper, I knew exactly who he was, I just had no idea how to draw furries at the time. But I was determined to learn one way or another.
as i was learning I started to think about art styles but never really understood how to find one, so instead of actively trying to find it, I decided to focus on improving other things first and let my style develop naturally. To my surprise, it actually worked, and by late 2024, I started noticing a more consistent style in my work.
